About August Kjerland (Entrepreneurship Lecturer & Business Advisor)

I'm August Kjerland, a Norwegian entrepreneurship lecturer and business advisor. My work sits where academia meets practice: I lecture in entrepreneurship at BI Norwegian Business School and the University of Agder, and I've spent forty years in leadership and board roles across international business.

Over four decades I've built, advised, and negotiated across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. The through-line never changes: what actually holds up when the meeting is real, the stakes are high, and the time is short. That's what I bring into every classroom, boardroom, and consulting session.

I've advised more than 200 founders and leaders. Not with motivation or trend-chasing, but with clarity, structure, and a stubborn focus on follow-through. I care about methods that are:
